Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Thrive Education are currently working in partnership with a 2 Form Entry primary school in Widnes who are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join their specialist resource provision.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with a strong understanding of the Early Years curriculum who is looking to work in a supportive school environment and make a real difference to children with additional needs.

The successful candidate will work within a small resource provision, providing a highly supportive and nurturing learning environment tailored to the individual needs of the children.

The Role

  • Teaching within an Early Years resource provision
  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons and activities
  • Having a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and early childhood development
  • Creating a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
  • Adapting learning to meet a range of individual needs
  • Supporting children’s communication, social, emotional and academic development
  • Working closely with support staff, school leaders and external professionals
  • Building strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
  • Maintaining high expectations while recognising and responding to individual needs

The Successful Candidate

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of the Early Years curriculum
  • Experience working with children with additional needs, ideally within a resource provision or specialist setting
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • The ability to differentiate and personalise learning effectively
  • A nurturing, patient and child-centred approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A passion for helping children achieve their full potential
