Driver Hire Edinburgh City are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HIAB (Remote Grab) Drivers to work with a well-established builders merchant across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified HIAB driver looking for consistent Monday to Friday work, guaranteed hours and the potential to secure a permanent position.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for delivering building materials to construction, commercial and residential sites, using a vehicle fitted with a remote grab HIAB crane.
Your duties will include:
- Operating a Class 2 vehicle fitted with a remote grab HIAB crane
- Delivering building materials to various sites
- Completing multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading materials using the remote grab
- Operating HIAB equipment safely and in line with site procedures
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting defects
