Are you a passionate and nurturing educator ready to make a real difference? We are on the lookout for an inspiring SEN Teacher to join our welcoming, well-resourced school in Twickenham, where every day is an opportunity to change lives.

About the Role

• Deliver highly tailored, engaging lessons to small groups of pupils with severe and complex SEN.
• Support children with severe learning difficulties and complex additional needs.
• Create a calm, structured, positive and nurturing environment where every learner can feel safe and supported.
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and the wider multidisciplinary team to support individual needs and EHCP outcomes.
• Adapt teaching, communication and behaviour strategies to meet individual pupil needs.
• Support pupils with developing communication, independence, social and life skills.
• Monitor progress and contribute to individualised learning and support plans.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children or young people with severe and complex SEN.
• Experience supporting pupils with ASD, profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), SEMH, communication needs or complex learning needs would be advantageous.
• A calm, patient, resilient and empathetic approach to behaviour, communication and learning.
• QTS or relevant teaching qualifications preferred, although relevant SEN experience and a strong commitment to supporting pupils are highly valued.
