About us
Impactable Investment Group is a majority employee-owned impact investment firm focused on Emerging Markets private credit. We build fund and bond products to institutional standards, so that investors can earn competitive returns while financing companies that improve lives and livelihoods across Africa, Asia and Latin America.
We are small, growing fast and entrepreneurial. People who join us are treated as partners in building the business, not employees filling a seat.
The role
You will work alongside our senior sales professionals, representing Impactable to institutional investors and learning the business from the inside. Because we are a small team, you will be involved in the whole sales process from day one, with real responsibility and direct client exposure, while building your knowledge of impact investing and private markets.
What you will do
- Build a thorough understanding of our firm, products, market and competitors, and use it to help position us with investors.
- Support client outreach and attend investor meetings.
- Own the CRM: keep data accurate and use it to drive follow-up.
- Maintain and improve client materials, including presentations and the newsletter.
- Research new markets, client channels and competitor products.
- Manage our social media presence and support marketing and investor relations.
- Use AI tools, including Claude, to improve the speed and quality of research, outreach and client materials, and help the team adopt better ways of working.
- Take part in, and sometimes chair, team meetings, and contribute to sales strategy.
- Support colleagues in other functions when needed.
What we are looking for
- Min 3 years’ professional experience, ideally in financial services or a client-facing role, with a relevant degree, such as in finance, economics, business, or sustainability.
- Enjoys building relationships, with experience of or a clear interest in consultative selling.
- A demonstrated interest in impact investing, sustainable finance or social entrepreneurship.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage several priorities at once.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365.
- Proficient in using AI tools in day-to-day work (such as Claude, ChatGPT); for example research, drafting, CRM and data tasks, with the judgement to check outputs for accuracy.
- Able to commute to Guildford, typically 2 days per week, with the right to work in the UK
- Knowledge of private markets (particularly private credit) and/or emerging markets.
- Sales experience within an asset management firm.
- Experience with CRM systems.
Impactable is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all backgrounds.
