General Manager in Port Talbot

Candour Talent are currently recruiting for a General Manager to join our client based in Port Talbot.

• Location: Port Talbot
• Employment Type: Permanent/Full Time
• Working Hours: Mon-Fri 8-5
• Salary: 54-60k Negotiable DOE

The Role

• General Management: overseeing day-to-day operations and sales
• Motivate, train, and develop the team to drive performance
• Prioritise Customer Service and the customer experience
• Be a reliable and trusted point of escalation for the team and customers
• Negotiate with suppliers
• Monitor and manage stock levels
• Identify process improvements and cost-saving initiatives

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience of working in a Roofing or Builders Merchants/Supplies
• Strong knowledge of Roofing Products
• Proven people management skills
• Must have own driving licence
