Title: Personal Injury Solicitor
Location: Manchester City Centre – Hybrid
A highly regarded Personal Injury team, ranked in Legal 500 and recognised as a top employer, is looking for an experienced Solicitor to join its Manchester office.
This is a great opportunity for a defendant insurance lawyer to handle a varied caseload across Road Traffic Accident, Employers’ Liability and Public Liability claims while working within a supportive and ambitious team.
The Role
You’ll manage your own caseload of defendant fast-track and intermediate-track claims, advising insurer and public sector clients on liability, litigation strategy and settlement.
You’ll handle matters through negotiation, mediation and litigation, with exposure to a broad range of complex casualty claims. There will also be opportunities to support and mentor junior colleagues.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX equivalent with 3+ years’ PQE
- Strong experience in defendant RTA, EL and/or PL claims
- Good knowledge of the CPR and insurance litigation
- Confident managing your own caseload and client relationships
- Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills
- Commercial, organised and proactive approach
