The work you could be doing

Across the placement,you’llbe involved ina number ofthings. These include:

  • Helpingfinancial markets and tradingteamsprice, execute and book transactions accurately, while keeping risk and control front of mind
  • Gettinginvolved in risk management activity, from portfolio analysis and scenario modelling to hedging, performance tracking and market reporting
  • Turningdata into useful insight by producing and analysing MI, market data and performance reports that help teams make better decisions
  • Workingclosely with teams across Sales, Risk, Finance, Treasury and Relationship Management to help deliver better outcomes for clients and the business
  • Supportingclient onboarding and relationship management, helping corporate and institutional clients receive a joined-up service
  • Spottingopportunities for growth by exploring market trends, clientneedsand product opportunities across financial markets
  • Helpingprepare presentations, committeepapersand senior stakeholder updates
  • Playinga part in strategic projects, process improvements and automation initiatives that make teams work smarter and more efficiently
  • Buildingyour understanding of capital, funding, liquidity,treasuryand financial market products–and the regulatory environment behind them
  • Carryingout research, analysis and adhoc projects that respond to business priorities, marketdevelopmentsand client-focused opportunities

What you need to apply

  • Be in your penultimate year at university.
  • While we do not require a set minimum degree achievement, we strongly recommend the ability to demonstratesound knowledge, understanding and technical skills aligned to the role. Some aspects of this will be assessed through the application process.

This programmeoperatesinLondon.We support hybrid working,whereyou’llbeexpected to spend a minimum of two days each week in the office.
