We are supporting an international organisation in the search for a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join their Regulatory & Sustainability team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced regulatory professional to take ownership of key compliance activities across a global product portfolio, providing expert guidance on evolving legislation and supporting the delivery of innovative products that meet international regulatory requirements.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will act as a subject matter expert, partnering with cross-functional teams across R&D, Sustainability, Supply Chain, Marketing and Commercial functions to ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle. You will play a pivotal role in monitoring regulatory developments, assessing business impact, supporting product registrations, and driving best practice across regulatory processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, interpret and communicate changes in global regulatory requirements, assessing business impact and recommending actions.
- Provide regulatory guidance and support for new and existing product development projects.
- Lead regulatory assessments and provide recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare, review, and maintain compliance documentation, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS), product labels, and transport documentation.
- Manage regulatory submissions and notifications through relevant authorities and regulatory platforms.
- Support customer and stakeholder compliance requests, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive compliance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to regulatory and sustainability projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
About You
? Degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, or a related Scientific discipline.
? 5+ years’ experience within Regulatory Affairs, ideally within chemicals, manufacturing, or consumer products.
? Strong working knowledge of REACH, CLP, TSCA, OSHA HazCom, ASTM D-4236 and wider global chemical regulations.
? Experience authoring and maintaining Safety Data Sheets (SDS), product labels, and regulatory documentation.
? Knowledge of product registration and notification processes, including ECHA and PCN submissions.
? Experience using regulatory management systems such as Lisam ExESS or similar software.
? Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
