P6 Planner (passionate about AI)

About the role:

You’ll lead Schedule Studio, nPlan’s AI-powered construction scheduling product, bringing your planning experience into product development. Working closely with engineering and research teams, you’ll shape how the software generates, reviews and improves programmes.

Previous product management experience is not essential. nPlan will teach you the product skills—you’ll bring the planning knowledge and hands-on experience using AI.

Key responsibilities:

• Review AI-generated programmes and define standards for schedule quality
• Lead a small squad, manage quarterly priorities and shape the product roadmap
• Build prototypes using AI tools, direct agents and review and edit generated code
• Develop planning agents that create programmes, challenge logic and propose recovery sequences
• Test product improvements against measurable standards for quality and reliability
• Work with planning managers, project controls leads and programme directors to understand their needs

What we’re looking for:

• Five-plus years building, maintaining and defending programmes on major construction or infrastructure projects
• Deep Primavera P6 knowledge, including logic, calendars, constraints, baselines and WBS
• Strong understanding of schedule quality, buildability, float and realistic durations
• Daily experience using AI tools to analyse, draft or automate your work
• Confidence working with data and translating planning requirements into practical improvements
• Strong communication skills and the ability to challenge assumptions and respond to e pvidence
