Job Description
As a Security Officer, you’ll be part of a professional team ensuring the safety, security, and compliance of our operations. Reporting to the Security Team Leader, you’ll support day-to-day security activities, uphold Health & Safety and compliance standards and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and contractors. You’ll play a key role in developing and following effective security protocols to meet regulatory and contractual requirements. What You’ll Be Doing
Responsibilities
- Control vehicle entry and exit, carrying out thorough security checks and verifying paperwork.
- Manage gatehouse operations with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Respond to incidents quickly and professionally, following training and protocols.
- Conduct regular site patrols (on foot and by vehicle).
- Complete reports, registration checks, and administrative duties to a high standard.
- Carry out vehicle spot checks, speed checks, and searches, escalating concerns where necessary.
Requirements
- Full clean driving licence.
- Valid SIA licence (Security Industry Authority) is essential
- Proven, checkable employment history.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Solid administrative ability and attention to detail.
- Good physical fitness for patrols and active duties.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
