  • Enjoy being the person who keeps everything organised, accurate and running smoothly? Thrive on spreadsheets, customer communication and making sure the details are right first time?
  • This is an opportunity to join a growing fresh produce business where you’ll play a key role in keeping customer programmes, transport movements and commercial information on track. The role is predominantly home-based, offering flexibility alongside regular interaction with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
  • If you’re highly organised, confident with Excel and enjoy working in a fast-paced commercial environment, this could be exactly what you’re looking for.

What’s on Offer?

  • £32,000 salary plus approximately £1,000 annual on-call allowance
  • 5% bonus, linked to business performance
  • Remote working
  • Monthly visit to the Harlow office with travel expenses covered
  • Hotel accommodation provided when overnight stays are required
  • Team dinner whenever the business gets together in person
  • Bupa healthcare and dental after probation
  • Company pension after probation
  • 33 days holiday including bank holidays
  • Join a small, close-knit business where your contribution will genuinely make a difference

What’s the Job?

  • You’ll be supporting the commercial and operations teams by managing customer programmes, transport tracking, commercial administration and business-critical reporting.

Day to day, you’ll be:

  • Managing customer programmes and ensuring requirements are delivered accurately
  • Tracking transport movements and updating ETA information
  • Maintaining commercial spreadsheets and trading records
  • Raising and managing purchase orders where required
  • Booking warehouse deliveries and coordinating customer requirements
  • Keeping customers and internal teams informed of changes and updates

  • Updating supplier programmes and transport information
  • Recording claims, rejections and quality control reports
  • Maintaining accurate electronic filing and documentation
  • Supporting accounts teams with delivery queries and proof of delivery requests
  • Monitoring packaging, pallet and crate movements
  • Highlighting pricing changes, losses or additional costs to the commercial team
  • Working closely with Commercial, Procurement, Operations and Finance colleagues
  • This is a detail-driven role where accuracy, organisation and strong communication are essential. The processes are currently spreadsheet-based, so someone who enjoys working with data and keeping information up to date will thrive here.

What do I need?

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with large spreadsheets
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Experience within an administration, operations support or commercial support role
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with customers

  • A proactive, organised and solutions-focused mindset
  • Strong IT skills across Microsoft Office
  • The ability to work independently while remaining a collaborative team player
  • Experience within fresh produce, food, logistics or supply chain environments would be beneficial, but the key requirement is someone who is organised, adaptable and able to keep information accurate in a fast-moving business.
