River Island are looking for a Product Manager – Visual to join their team.
As Product Manager, you’ll lead, inspire and empower the store team to deliver an exceptional customer journey while helping to create a great place to work. You’ll be an expert in product handling, with a passion for delivering outstanding visual standards and excellent customer service.
Working alongside the Store Leader, you’ll help develop the team, maintain operational standards and drive strong sales and store performance.
What you’ll be doing
- Delivering great product placement and creating inspiring, wearable outfits.
- Maintaining strong visual standards, with the customer journey at the heart of every decision.
- Duty managing across all areas of store operations, including service and people.
- Empowering the store team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Using commercial tools and insights to identify actions that support store performance.
- Supporting the Store Leader to deliver store KPIs, including sales, stock loss, payroll, conversion and people KPIs.
- Supporting store operations and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Helping to develop a high-performing, motivated and engaged store team.
You’ll be perfect for the role if
You have a strong commercial mindset and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment. You’ll be passionate about fashion, with a natural flair for visual merchandising and creating inspiring store layouts.
You’ll be both creative and analytical, with the ability to turn sales data into actions that improve store performance. You’ll also be an inspiring leader who can motivate and engage a team, with excellent attention to detail and a proactive, results-focused approach.
The role is hands-on and priorities can change quickly, so you’ll need to be comfortable balancing different responsibilities, from analysing performance and leading the team to moving products, resetting the shop floor and replenishing stock.
As part of a retail environment, you’ll also need to be available to work weekends, public holidays and key seasonal periods.
