I am currently working with a Local Authority in the East Midlands, looking for an Interim Planning Manager to lead its Development Management, Planning Policy, and Minerals & Waste teams on an initial 6-month contract.
This is a strategic leadership role, managing three planning functions while working closely with senior leadership and elected members to drive performance and service delivery.
What they’re looking for:
- Planning management experience within a Local Authority
- Strong Development Management and Policy background
- Experience leading planning teams and managing performance
- Minerals & Waste experience is desirable
Working arrangements:
- 700 per day
- Initial 6-month contract
- Flexible hybrid working
