Overview

In this role you drive growth for the Valves and Pumps unit by expanding into new markets and strengthening key customer relationships. You will collaborate with sales, technical and marketing teams to position solutions across hygienic process industries. You’ll lead market initiatives, support global strategies, and ensure profitable revenue through cross-functional execution. This position offers impact by shaping the product and market approach in a globally active organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the Valves and Pumps business across multiple industries (food, beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care, hygienic manufacturing)
  • Identify market opportunities and create strategies to grow sales, market share, and profitability
  • Expand the customer base and cultivate long-term partnerships for sustainable revenue growth
  • Support global and regional sales initiatives in alignment with company strategy
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders
  • Represent the company at industry events to raise brand awareness and market presence
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify sales potentials and enable cross-selling/upselling
  • Coordinate with internal sales and technical teams to ensure smooth quotations and contract execution
  • Provide sales reports, forecasts, and CRM insights for senior management and drive data-driven decisions
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and technologic advancements to stay competitive
  • Support market insights and drive sales in the valves and pumps sector with the Head of Sales
  • Travel as needed to meet customers and attend events

Key requirements

  • Experience in F2F sales, business development or management in valves, pumps or hygienic process industry with strong technical acumen
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in negotiation, contracting, and customer relationship management
  • Experience with CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication and networking skills suitable for engagement at all levels
  • Willingness to travel including overnight travel as required
