Technical Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead the technical team for a residential developer in Farnborough, guiding design from inception through to delivery. You will drive high-quality, innovative solutions on large-scale residential and mixed-use schemes, coordinating between clients, consultants and construction teams. You’ll manage information flow, problem-solve daily, and ensure projects meet budget and schedule targets. Responsibilities

• Achieve design quality and maintain innovative market positioning
• Drive cutting-edge solutions to enhance the company’s reputation
• Deliver projects through collaboration with colleagues and partners
• Manage information flow across the project lifecycle
• Problem solve on a day-to-day basis
• Drive innovation in supply chain management
• Coordinate specialist sub-contractor design integration
• Provide a practical, cost-effective design service
• Manage in-house and external designers to ensure best practice
• Produce technical design solutions within budget and cost plan

Key requirements

• Reinforced concrete and high-rise residential project experience
• Led own team with ability to drive decisions autonomously
• Experience on large residential schemes
• Strong communication with clients, consultants and construction teams
• Knowledge of Building Regulations and NHBC Technical Standards
• Degree qualified in construction or equivalent
• Motivated with growth mindset and track record of delivering on time and within budget
