Injection Mould Setter

Overview

In this role you will support the Mould Shop in Stonehouse, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant operation of moulding processes. You will work as part of a 25-person team to deliver high-quality moulded components that meet production and regulatory requirements. You will use verified programs, document process changes, and participate in maintenance and inspections to sustain quality and uptime. This is a hands-on, shift-based opportunity in a growing life sciences company that backs patient-focused outcomes. You will help shape robust manufacturing through attention to detail and proactive quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Use verified production programs and record all process changes per guidelines
• Communicate maintenance needs to the Senior Technician and support maintenance activities
• Complete First Off Inspections and routine patrol inspections of moulded components
• Support qualification of mouldings and participate in relevant training
• Record and report non-conformances and maintain accurate production records
• Provide cover for holidays and sickness as required
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and ensure quality standards are met
• Operate according to the quality system and flag any quality issues to Production or Quality
• Support ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and regulatory IVD compliance, including documentation practices
• Complete First Aid training and provide First Aid support

Key requirements

• Experience with injection moulding machines, tooling and process parameter setting
• Good understanding of moulding processes and process optimisation
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and regulated manufacturing environments
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to quality and compliance
• Ability to follow documented procedures and maintain accurate production records
• Effective problem-solving and ability to work independently and in a team
