Senior Project Manager – Data Centers

Overview

In this role you will lead large-scale, ground-up data centre projects in Europe from inception to commissioning. You will work within the Data Centre team to define success criteria, establish governance, and manage cross-functional delivery with a focus on time, cost, technical, and performance targets. You’ll drive quality, safety, and environment considerations, monitor finances, and keep the client informed through regular reporting. Responsibilities

• Advise at the conceptual stage on approaches to achieve client objectives
• Define project success criteria across time, cost, quality and performance
• Plan and manage quality, safety, health and environment aspects
• Establish project governance, processes and systems
• Produce detailed project plans and oversee planning
• Advise on resource procurement
• Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams
• Apply performance management techniques (KPIs) to improve delivery
• Manage change control processes
• Monitor project finances
• Oversee project information flow with client and consultants through meetings and reports
• Lead client interfaces and communications across all project stages

Key requirements

• Construction consultancy experience (strongly preferred)
• Professionally qualified in construction, project management, engineering, or architecture
• Chartered status or on the path to achieving it
• Thorough understanding of total project life cycle from conception to post-project review
• Excellent knowledge of project management concepts, tools, and techniques
• Design, management or construction experience in general construction environments (residential, office, fit-outs, health & education)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
