Our client is seeking a Corporate Commercial Solicitor (5+ years PQE) to join their highly regarded team as a Senior Associate Corporate Commercial Solicitor. You will cover all aspects of corporate work, with a particular focus on M&A. The role requires someone able to take ownership of matters and lead on transactional work, while working closely with a partner on more complex or high-value deals.
Responsibilities for this Corporate Commercial Solicitor role:
- Acting as an extension of clients’ businesses, providing practical, commercial advice aligned with their needs and objectives
- Handling all aspects of corporate transactions for a broad range of clients across different sectors
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documents
- Managing transactional work from instruction through to completion
- Taking ownership of service levels and proactively developing and growing client relationships
- Supervising and supporting junior solicitors and trainees where required
- Liaising with other departments on due diligence to ensure a joined-up, consistent approach to client service delivery
- Undertaking business development activities, such as attending networking events, meeting referrers, writing blogs, and raising your profile on LinkedIn and other social media platforms
