Senior Management Accountant

Overview

In this Financial Controller role, you will oversee financial operations, bring rigor to month/year-end close, and own management accounting and budgeting. You will partner with the CEO and FD on strategic planning and drive scalable finance processes for a fast-growing luxury hospitality group. The position combines core reporting with FP&A and commercial finance to enable informed growth decisions. You will shape financial systems and present insights to senior stakeholders, contributing to the company’s expansion trajectory and financial stability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
• Own management accounting function
• Lead budgeting and forecasting
• Cost centre management
• Support strategic planning with CEO and FD
• Monitor cash flow and working capital
• Provide financial analysis to support decisions and growth
• Implement and improve financial systems and processes for efficiency and scalability
• Report and present financial performance to senior stakeholders

Key requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Proven experience in hospitality, leisure, or similar sector
