Learning and Development Facilitator – Leeds and surrounding area

Overview

As a Learning and Development Facilitator, you will drive performance and quality across Avery’s care homes by delivering quality training to the team. You’ll ensure a competent, compliant staff base that can deliver exceptional resident care. You will lead cluster training, design engaging courses, and run induction and refresher sessions both in person and online. Your work supports a caring, inclusive culture focused on growth, respect, and excellent resident experiences. This role offers meaningful impact in a expanding network of luxury elderly care homes.

Responsibilities

• Lead statutory and mandatory training for a cluster of homes
• Identify learning needs via the LMS
• Plan and design engaging courses and content
• Facilitate induction and refresher sessions (face-to-face and virtual)
• Accurately record training in the LMS
• Assess learner knowledge and understanding throughout training

Key requirements

• Experience in learning and development within the adult social care sector
• Related qualifications in adult social care
• Knowledge of statutory and mandatory training requirements
• Commitment to diversity and neurodiversity learning needs
• Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or willingness to work towards it)
• Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care (or similar)
• UK driving licence and own transport
• DBS check and proof of UK work eligibility
