Overview

As a Senior Credit Control Analyst you will own robust credit control for a defined portfolio, collaborating with brokers and underwriters to improve service delivery. You’ll drive investigation and resolution of material overdue receivables, contribute to monthly reporting and debt reviews, and support underwriting reporting packs. You’ll work with global colleagues to share skills, adopt new tools, and push continuous improvement across processes and systems. This role combines credit control, analytics, and SME guidance within AXA XL UK.

Responsibilities

  • Own investigation, progression and resolution of material overdue receivables and unallocated cash issues
  • Provide clear commentary for monthly reporting packs and debt reviews
  • Follow TOM/Credit Control procedures and escalate via line manager
  • Manage day-to-day operations between AXA XL brokers including reconciliations and escalation of material premiums
  • Contribute to underwriting reporting packs highlighting actions and leverage cases
  • Liaise with colleagues in India and Poland to resolve unallocated cash queries
  • Drive continuous improvement and adopt new tools (e-accounting, internal query tool, Smart Match)
  • Ensure competence across accounting platforms used by Credit Control and Transaction Query Management
  • Perform periodic reviews of aged premiums and contribute to cancellation notice processes
  • Act as SME for PAS (Premium Accounting System, Genius/Frame); mentor and train Credit Control Analysts and new joiners
  • Lead key UK Middle Office projects, identify efficiency improvements, and model AXA XL core values
