Responsibilities

• Set architectural direction for cloud initiatives and advise senior stakeholders
• Lead delivery teams to implement scalable, secure cloud solutions
• Drive digital transformation through modern architecture, platform engineering and DevOps practices
• Oversee complex cloud migration and modernization programs across enterprise environments
• Implement cloud security, governance, resilience and compliance controls for public sector and regulated environments
• Mentor engineers and architects, building capability in junior team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client counterparts to achieve programme objectives
• Manage delivery scope, timelines and budgets with minimal direction

Key requirements

• 8+ years of cloud architecture, strategy, engineering and transformation delivery
• Professional AWS cloud architecture certification
• Deep expertise in AWS services and cloud-native architectures
• Experience defining cloud strategies, operating models, and transformation roadmaps
• Experience leading complex migration and modernization programs
• Strong knowledge of platform engineering, infrastructure automation and DevOps
• Experience with cloud security, governance, resilience and compliance in public sector environments
• Proven ability to lead multiple workstreams and manage large teams
