Software Product Manager – Fintech

Overview

In this role you will help launch a brand-new e-factoring platform and CRM from scratch within a SCRUM environment, targeting Fortune 500 clients. You’ll shape the global product vision, translate market needs into concrete releases, and build business cases to drive revenue. You will collaborate across product, marketing, and partners to deliver a competitive, user-centered fintech solution and support successful product launches.

Responsibilities

• Work in a SCRUM development environment
• Analyze competition and trends to design valuable products for large enterprises
• Support VP of Product in shaping global vision and roadmap and execute against it
• Translate market and business requirements into product designs and releases
• Build business cases and evaluate make/buy/partner options
• Lead change management: communication plans, rollout materials, and training sessions
• Support service proposals with consultations and demos for users and customers
• Develop product strategies, policies and process improvements delivering revenue and benefits
• Monitor industry innovations and incorporate them into products
• Define user personas for each product
• Support Product Marketing with product launches
• Maintain a portfolio status dashboard for all products

Key requirements

• Financial Services experience, ideally payments
• Track record delivering products or product improvements to market
• Knowledge of building competitive pricing models while maintaining margins
• Subject matter expertise in accounts payable systems and solutions
• Software development background
• Supplier management and performance systems knowledge preferred but not essential
• Understanding of cloud-based products; Salesforce knowledge preferred but not essential
• Technical depth with customer focus, data literacy, Agile working, partner relationship management, commercial acumen, prioritisation across multiple projects
• Strong influencing and presenting skills
