Discipline Lead – MEP Engineering (Water & Infrastructure)
Are you an experienced MEP Engineering Lead, Design Manager, Engineering Manager or Lead Process Engineer looking to play a key role in the delivery of major UK infrastructure projects?
NES Fircroft is supporting a leading international infrastructure organisation seeking a Discipline Lead – MEP Engineering to support the design and delivery of complex water and infrastructure programmes across the UK.
This role offers the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary engineering coordination activities, working closely with process, mechanical, electrical, civil and structural teams to ensure successful project delivery from tender stage through to construction.
In this Discipline Lead – MEP Engineering role, your key responsibilities will involve:
- Leading MEP coordination activities across bids and live infrastructure projects
- Managing interfaces between process, mechanical, electrical, civil and structural disciplines
- Supporting technical reviews, engineering assurance and design integration activities
- Coordinating external designers and ensuring the timely delivery of technical outputs
- Contributing to buildability reviews and construction-led design development
- Participating in multidisciplinary design reviews and stakeholder coordination meetings
- Supporting engineering planning, tender development and project delivery activities
To be successful in this position, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- Approximately 7-10 years’ experience within engineering, infrastructure or water projects
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams across complex projects
- A strong understanding of design integration and interface management
- Experience managing external consultants, designers or technical stakeholders
- Chartered Engineer status or active progression towards chartership
- Previous experience within the water sector would be highly advantageous
