As a result, they are seeking a technically strong Statutory Reporting Manager to take ownership of statutory reporting across an expanding international group.
This is far more than a traditional reporting role. You’ll play a key part in creating the frameworks, controls and reporting processes that support growth across multiple countries while working closely with senior finance leadership, auditors and external advisors.
The Opportunity
As Financial Reporting Manager, you will lead the statutory reporting agenda across a growing portfolio of UK and international entities. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance, managing audits, maintaining technical accounting standards and building scalable reporting processes capable of supporting continued global expansion.
This role offers significant visibility across the business and exposure to financings, acquisitions, entity restructures and international growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own statutory financial reporting across multiple international entities
- Lead the preparation and filing of statutory accounts across various jurisdictions
- Manage relationships with external auditors and coordinate the year-end audit process
- Oversee the US GAAP to IFRS reporting bridge
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and statutory filing obligations
- Develop and maintain global statutory reporting calendars and governance processes
- Partner with tax advisors, local finance teams and external specialists worldwide
- Standardise reporting processes as new entities and jurisdictions are added
- Support corporate transactions, financings and M&A activity from a statutory reporting perspective
- Contribute to finance transformation and ERP implementation projects.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
- Strong statutory reporting and technical accounting background
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
- Experience managing statutory audits and external stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in a multi-entity, international environment
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to work autonomously
- Experience across US or European reporting environments would be advantageous
