Senior Software Engineer (C#) – Up to £165,000 + Bonuses + Benefits

We are looking for an exceptional C#/.NET engineer to join an elite quantitative commodities trading firm.

You will build the core backend systems behind the trading and analytics platform used every day by the traders and quantitative researchers. Systems are processing huge volumes of market and trading data, powering real-time analytics, research, pricing and trading decisions across global commodities markets.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and evolve high-performance backend services using C#/.NET Core
• Design systems capable of processing massive datasets and high-throughput real-time data
• Solve challenging problems in performance, concurrency, distributed systems and scalability
• Work directly with traders, quantitative researchers and engineers to turn complex requirements into robust solutions
• Own projects from architecture and design through to production

Who You Are:

• 4+ years commercial experience with C#/.NET
• Strong computer science fundamentals – degree ideally but not required!
• Experience building large-scale, production-critical backend systems
• A genuine interest in working with technically demanding systems in a high impact environment
