The Opportunity
An established multidisciplinary consultancy is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer who wants more than another project delivery role.
You will take responsibility for development infrastructure projects across drainage, SuDS and highways, working directly with clients while remaining hands-on technically. Just as importantly, there is genuine scope for the successful Senior Civil Engineer to take increasing responsibility for the Civils function as the role develops.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead drainage, SuDS and highways design
- Deliver projects from planning through detailed design
- Prepare and review Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies
- Manage project delivery and client relationships
- Coordinate with developers and multidisciplinary design teams
- Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers
- Help shape the continued development of the Civils team
Candidate Requirements
- Strong UK development infrastructure consultancy experience
- Technical capability across drainage, SuDS and highways
- Experience managing projects and dealing directly with clients
- Comfortable taking responsibility within a small team
- Chartered or working towards Chartership would be advantageous
