Priory Hospital EastMidlands has an opportunity for a HCPC registered OccupationalTherapist to join our team.Priory HospitalEast Midlands, located between Nottingham and Mansfield, is aspecialist acute and psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) servicefor adult females. It is accessible by public transport, with alocal train station nearby and a bus stop just outside the hospitalproviding links to Annesley, Hucknall andKirkby-in-Ashfield.
What you’ll bedoing
You will join the team on theAcute and PICU ward. In this role, you will play a key part inpatient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery oftailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and highstandards of care.
- Manages andco-ordinates the implementation of individual treatment plans foroccupational therapy services ensuring treatments, activities andinterventions are delivered through effective application andcommunication.
- Receives and responds promptlyto referrals undertaking patient assessments to identify andprioritise patient needs before planning and delivering theappropriate and relevant interventions either on an individual orgroup basis. Maintains accurate and timely records detailing eachpatient’s rehabilitation / progress.
- Ensuresthe effective and efficient management of more juniorstaff.

What you’ll bring tothe role
Candidates must be HCPCregistered and hold a Diploma in Occupational Therapy or holds aBSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy together with full BAOTmembership.
The role holder will require atleast 3 years’ experience including at least 1 years experience ofworking within the specialised area i.e. addictions, neuro-rehab oreating disorders.
