A leading, modern Legal 500 law firm is expanding its specialist Housing team and is seeking an experienced Housing Solicitor with strong service charge expertise.

The Role
You will manage a varied caseload involving service charge disputes and recovery, advising a diverse portfolio of commercial clients, landlords and accommodation providers. The role offers genuine progression, a supportive team environment and exposure to high-quality work across multiple residential sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling service charge disputes and recovery
- Advising on service charge legislation, lease interpretation and liability issues
- Managing service charge arrears, pre-action work and court proceedings
- Supporting wider housing litigation matters including possession and tenancy disputes
- Delivering commercially focused advice to landlords, accommodation providers and property businesses
Ideal Candidate
- Demonstrable experience in service charge matters
- Background in housing, landlord & tenant, property litigation, or residential property
- Strong understanding of service charge legislation and the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)
- Excellent drafting, organisational and case management skills
- Commercially aware, client-focused and proactive
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
