Pharmaceutical Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly organized and experienced Pharmaceutical Project Manager to lead critical initiatives within their dynamic organization in Randburg . This role is pivotal in overseeing the successful execution of pharmaceutical projects from inception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage resources, and mitigate risks to achieve project objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and close pharmaceutical projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and manage changes effectively.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and clear communication.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies.
• Track project progress, report on key milestones, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry) or Business Administration.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects from initiation to closure.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical development process (e.g., R&D, clinical trials, regulatory affairs).
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills .
• Proficiency in project management software and methodologies.
