We’re working with a leading infrastructure contractor delivering key projects across the North West and are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Buyer, or an ambitious Buyer ready to take the next step in their career.
This role offers a mix of site, office and hybrid working, supporting major civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
What you’ll be doing
- Procuring subcontract packages and materials across major infrastructure projects
- Managing supplier and subcontractor relationships to ensure best value and performance
- Supporting commercial and project teams with procurement strategies and project delivery
- Negotiating contracts, reducing costs and mitigating supply chain risks
What we’re looking for
- Experience in a Buyer or Senior Buyer position within construction, civil engineering or infrastructure
- Strong subcontract procurement experience
- Materials buying experience
- Excellent negotiation, supplier management and stakeholder engagement skills
Buyer-level candidates looking to step up will also be considered
