Based in Telford, this full-time CNC Programmer Setter role offers £17–£18 per hour on a temporary–to–permanent basis. Working with a Stafford Park manufacturer, the successful candidate creates detailed instructions that CNC machines follow to produce components.
Duties include analysing blueprints and models, then translating designs into machine–readable code via CAD/CAM software. This output governs tool selection, cutting parameters and movement, ensuring parts meet precise dimensions.
Applicants need two to three years’ programming experience, ideally with Citizen sliding–head lathes, plus the ability to work unsupervised and finish to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for creating the detailed instructions, or code, that a CNC machine uses to manufacture their parts.
- You will be analysing blueprints and models, then translating those designs into machine–readable code using CAD/CAM software. This code dictates the machine’s movements, tool selection, and cutting parameters to produce parts with precise dimensions and specifications.
- Ensuring parts meet precise dimensions and specifications.
Ideal Candidate
- 2–3 Years experience in CNC Programming.
- Experience using a Citizen Slider lathe machine.

Hours: 7.30-5pm Monday – Thursday, 7.30 – 11.30 Friday.
