Bolton Associates is working with a well-performing and growing specialty London market (re)insurer that is seeking a Capital Actuary / Senior Capital Analyst.
This role includes a variety of responsibilities including building, operating and maintaining the Tyche capital model, standard formula, the production of risk and capital analytics to support key decisions such as business planning or reinsurance strategy, and training of more junior members.
You will have a minimum 4 years of non-life capital modelling experience and those from a personal lines background eager to transition into the London market will also be considered. You should be someone who is proactive and enjoys using your initiative. Working knowledge of programming languages such as Python and SQL will be highly advantageous. It’s a great opportunity for someone at this level looking for a step up to take on more ownership and be number 2 in the team.
