Registered Mental Health Nurse

We are expanding our Mental Health Outreach Team with a Registered Mental Health Nurse – Band 6

You will be based within the Acute Medicine and Emergency Care Care Group to support patients attending our Emergency Departments and Acute Medical Units.

An exciting opportunity is available to join a new team of staff who will provide specialist mental health and enhanced care along side the acute care teams.

Key Responsibilities

• You will lead a team of Clinical Support Workers and provide specialist mental health advice, care and treatment to patients staff in the acute hospital setting.
• Offering specialist advice and guidance to our clinical teams caring for patients with significant mental illness
• Deliver a training programme for enhanced care and specialist skills in caring for patients with significant mental illness.
• Line management, supervision and deployment of the enhanced care Clinical Support Worker team.

Key Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with Mental Health qualification and experience to lead an enhanced care team across the Trust
