Remote UX Researcher

About the Role

Our client is seeking an insightful and dedicated Remote UX Researcher to join their product development team. This role is instrumental in understanding user behaviors, needs, and motivations to inform the design of intuitive and effective digital products. You will plan, conduct, and analyze user research studies, providing actionable insights that drive product strategy and enhance user experience. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, adept at qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, and passionate about advocating for the user in a fully remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute user research studies, including interviews, surveys, usability tests, and contextual inquiries.
• Analyze research data (both qualitative and quantitative) to identify key user insights, pain points, and opportunities.
• Translate research findings into actionable recommendations and present them clearly to product, design, and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to define research questions and methodologies.
• Develop user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts to communicate user understanding across the organization.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and ensure user needs are central to product development decisions.
• Stay current with the latest UX research trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX research, with a strong portfolio showcasing research methodologies and impact.
• Proficiency in a variety of user research techniques, both qualitative and quantitative.
• Experience with user research tools and platforms.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present research findings effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field is preferred.
