Our Retirement team work with some of the largest pension schemes in the UK, for everyone from household-name brands to charities. Advising on both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution schemes, we tackle complex challenges every day and make a real difference to active and retired employees across the country. Responsibilities
Joining us for eight weeks, you’ll build invaluable real-world experience fully integrated in our Retirement business. You’ll work with and learn from industry experts, while:
- Applying your education to a range of challenging live projects across our unrivalled client base
- Helping our clients understand and manage their pension risks
- Gaining a wide range of on-the-job experience
- Developing technical and consulting skills through a full induction, wide-ranging training programme and ongoing continual learning opportunities
- Building your understanding of the work we do and the future opportunities we offer
This is the perfect opportunity to understand what you could expect if you joined our trainee consultant programme the following year. Many of our interns return as permanent team members after graduation.
Qualifications
To transform your tomorrow with a WTW internship, you’ll need to be:
- Eager to learn and contribute
- Good with numbers
- A confident communicator who knows how to build relationships
- Keen to solve challenging technical problems
- In your penultimate year at university
- On course to achieve a 2:1 degree in a numerate discipline or predicted 2:1 degree including A-Level Maths grade A/B or equivalent qualifications
