An established manufacturer of specialist commercial ventilation and air movement equipment is looking for an Area Sales Manager to develop its London and South territory. The role will involve managing and growing an existing customer base while developing new business across contractors, specialist installers and other commercial building services customers. You will be responsible for increasing product sales, identifying new opportunities and managing the territory against agreed sales targets.
RequirementsProven field sales experience within HVAC, ventilation, air movement, AHUs, mechanical building services or commercial catering equipmentExperience selling to M&E contractors, HVAC contractors, specialist installers, fit-out contractors or catering contractorsCandidates from an AHU or commercial ventilation manufacturer background would be particularly relevantAlternatively, experience within commercial catering equipment or kitchen fit-out, particularly where selling through contractorsStrong account management and business development experienceTechnically comfortable discussing engineered products and applicationsAble to develop existing accounts while opening new businessEstablished contacts across HVAC, building services or foodservice markets advantageousFull UK driving licence
