Are you an Air Quality Consultant looking for a new opportunity in London?
Zest4Talent is recruiting for an Air Quality Consultant to join an established international technical consultancy with a growing UK presence.
This is an excellent opportunity for an environmental professional who wants to develop their career within the built environment and commercial real estate sector, working on projects across London as part of a growing UK team.
Our client predominantly supports the commercial property and real estate market. However, previous commercial real estate experience is not essential.
If you already have air quality experience within construction, the built environment or environmental consultancy, our client is happy to provide the additional training required to transition your experience into commercial real estate.
What Will You Be Doing?
As an Air Quality Consultant, you will support the delivery of air quality and environmental consultancy services across a range of built environment projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking air quality assessments and technical consultancy work
- Supporting commercial property and wider built environment projects
- Attending client sites across London and Greater London
- Analysing environmental and air quality data
- Preparing clear and professional technical reports
- Providing practical recommendations to clients
- Working closely with clients, colleagues and other built environment professionals
- Managing multiple projects and client requirements
- Keeping up to date with relevant UK air quality legislation, guidance and industry best practice
- Developing your knowledge of the commercial real estate sector
What Are We Looking For?
We would love to hear from candidates with practical experience in air quality, environmental consultancy or a closely related built environment discipline.
You may already be working within commercial property, but this is not essential. Candidates coming from other areas of the construction and built environment sector will also be considered, with cross-training available.
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience within air quality or environmental consultancy
- Experience or exposure to the built environment or construction sector
- A relevant environmental, scientific or technical degree
- Strong analytical and technical report-writing skills
- Good communication and client-facing skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- The flexibility to travel to client sites throughout London
- An interest in developing your career within commercial real estate
We are also interested in hearing from graduates and early-career Air Quality Consultants who have gained relevant practical experience through an internship, placement year or similar industry experience.
Location & Hybrid Working
This is a hybrid Air Quality Consultant role based in London.
You will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance of London and be able to travel easily to the office and client sites across the capital.
Client visits are generally undertaken using public transport, with business travel expenses covered. A company car is therefore not required for this position.
Salary & Career Development
The position offers a basic salary of up to £40,000, depending on skills and experience.
