Job Title: Learning Support Communicator (19+ Provision)
Location: Hemel Hempstead Campus Salary: £25.00 to £35.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Hours: Part-time, Monday & Tuesday 9:15 AM – 3:00 PM, Thursday 9:15 AM – 1:40 PM (15 hours 25 minutes per week)
Contract: Temporary, Ongoing, ASAP start
About the Role
Choice Teachers is looking for a dedicated and experienced Communication Support Worker / Communicator to provide tailored 1:1 support for an adult learner within our vibrant Hemel Hempstead campus community. You will deliver high-quality communication support across scheduled classroom sessions, facilitating effective engagement and accessibility in a modern, well-equipped further education setting.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality communication support tailored to the specific needs of a 19+ learner. Facilitate effective engagement and accessibility across scheduled classroom sessions. Collaborate closely with academic and support teams to foster an inclusive and encouraging learning environment. Maintain reliability and flexibility to commit to the specified daytime hours across Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Experience: Proven experience in a communication support, British Sign Language (BSL), or learning support role within education. Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build a supportive, professional rapport with adult learners. Core Attributes: Reliable, flexible, and fully committed to the specified daytime hours.
