We are a busy dental practice with a supportive team of experienced dental professionals, all working together to provide excellent patient care. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to begin a rewarding career in dental nursing while gaining valuable practical experience and a nationally recognised qualification.
You will work alongside our experienced dental team and receive dedicated training and support throughout your apprenticeship.

What will you be doing? As an Apprentice Dental Nurse, your role will include:
- Welcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable and at ease
- Providing chairside assistance to the dentist during a wide range of treatments
- Preparing surgeries and ensuring they are clean, organised and ready for use
- Cleaning, sterilising and maintaining dental instruments in line with practice procedures
- Ensuring all necessary materials, equipment and supplies are available
- Updating and maintaining patient records using the practice computer system
- Working closely with the dentist and wider dental team to ensure the smooth running of the surgery
- Responding promptly to requests and supporting the team throughout patient appointments
- Maintaining high standards of infection control, cleanliness and patient care
- We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in dentistry and the welfare of patients.
You should have:
- GCSEs atGrade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- A friendly, caring and approachable manner
- Good practical and organisational skills
- The ability to remain calm and reassuring when supporting patients
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
- A positive attitude and a strong commitment to providing excellent patient care
