Food Production Operative (Malvern)

We are looking for a Food Production Operative to join a growing manufacturing and production team in the Malvern area. This role involves packing and warehouse duties within a foodproduction environment.

Duties include:

• Operating Machinery
• Carrying out warehousing operations for storage and picking
• Packing materials and equipment for both paper and tote bags
• Assisting with loading vehicles and containers for despatch
• Following foodproduction procedures to maintain food safety
• Completing all packing and warehouse paperwork accurately
• Inform the Supervisor of any issues and ensure they are properly recorded
• Alerting senior staff to any foodsafety or plantsafety issues
• Always maintaining housekeeping standards
• Adhering to all health & safety requirements
• Performing any other duties as required

Skills & Experience

• Basic literacy and numeracy
• Practical ability to operate plant and machinery
• Health & safety awareness
• Environmental awareness

Hours of Work:

• Monday to Friday
• 08:30 – 17:00

Rate of Pay:

• Starting from £13.40 per hour
• Overtime available after permanent contract.
