A specialist school in Windsor is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join their team. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals with an interest in Psychology, Mental Health, Counselling, Therapy, Social Work, or Education who want to gain valuable hands‑on experience supporting young people with a range of additional needs.
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to young people with a range of additional needs.
- Support students with their emotional wellbeing, confidence, and social development.
- Help young people develop coping strategies, independence, and positive routines.
- Build trusting and supportive relationships with students.
- Work closely with teachers and wider support staff to create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment.
We’re looking for a Mental Health Support Worker who is:
- Compassionate, patient, and genuinely passionate about supporting young people.
- A confident communicator with an interest in mental health and wellbeing.
- Calm, resilient, and able to respond appropriately to challenging situations.
- Interested in developing a career in mental health, psychology, therapy, social care, or education.
- Able to build strong, positive relationships with young people and colleagues.

- Setting: Specialist/SEN School
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
- Contract: Full-time
Salary will be determined by the successful candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client’s pay policy.
