We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Paediatric Complex Care Assistant to join our team in Solihull. As a Complex Care Assistant, you will provide dedicated care and support to a child with complex medical needs.
Available Role:
Client: Providing personalised care at the clients school.Hours: 08:30 – 17:00 Monday & 08:30 – 16:00 TuesdayPay: £12.21-£13.28
About the role
Duties include:
Providing personalised care at the service users school
Assisting with medication administration and monitoring health conditions
Implementing and following individual care plans
Supporting children with mobility and daily activities
Assisting with feeding and ensuring adequate nutrition
Monitoring and recording observations on the child’s condition
Liaising with parents and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Engaging children in play activities to promote their development and well-being
Key Responsibilities (All Roles)
Deliver compassionate, person-centred care in line with care plans
Assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily activities
Promote independence, dignity, and emotional wellbeing
Maintain accurate care documentation
Build trusting relationships with clients and families
Follow all health & safety regulations and company policies

Required Criteria
- Minimum 6 months UK care experience
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Strong spoken and written English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic IT skills for documentation
- Enhanced DBS required
Desired Criteria
- Experience with children or complex needs preferred but not essential
- Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle preferred
