Activities Coordinator

Pay Rate: £17 per hour

Hours: 37 per week

Contract: Temp to Perm

The Role

• Plan and organise a variety of activities based around residents’ interests and abilities.
• Deliver engaging activities including arts and crafts, music, games, quizzes and social events.
• Encourage residents to participate and promote their wellbeing, independence and quality of life.
• Build positive relationships with residents and create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
• Work alongside care staff to ensure activities are appropriate to individual needs and abilities.
• Support the organisation of special events, celebrations and entertainment within the care home.

About You

• Previous experience working with older people, ideally within a care home or healthcare setting.
• Friendly, creative and enthusiastic approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient and compassionate, with a genuine interest in supporting residents.
