About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking a part-time, predominantly administrative and coordination-based role that offers genuine flexibility around family life, caring responsibilities or other commitments. We can offer 25-30 hours per week, with working arrangements discussed at interview. For example, you may choose to work 9am-2pm Monday to Friday, although we’re happy to consider alternative patterns to suit the right candidate.

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing administrative and coordination support to the Work Winning team.
  • Supporting opportunities through the Balfour Beatty Gated Business Lifecycle (DGBL).
  • Maintaining CRM and DGBL records, reporting, and data quality.
  • Coordinating governance and approval meetings.
  • Supporting Bid Managers and Opportunity Leads with documentation and trackers.
  • Managing SharePoint sites, templates, and document libraries.
  • Providing day-to-day administration across the Work Winning function.
  • Supporting continuous improvement of systems, processes, and governance activities.

Who we’re looking for

Essential

  • Previous experience in an administrative, coordinator, or business support role.
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Teams skills.
  • Experience using SharePoint or similar document management systems.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn.

Desirable

  • Experience using CRM systems, Dynamics CRM, or DGBL.
  • Experience supporting bids, projects, or business development activities.
  • Knowledge of governance or stage-gate processes.
  • Experience using Power BI or digital reporting tools.
  • Experience within construction, engineering, or infrastructure sectors.
