We’re looking for someone whogenuinely enjoys fixing computersto join our team.
You don’t need years of professional experience — but youdo need to know your way around a laptop.
Maybe you’ve replaced screens, swapped batteries, fitted SSDs, upgraded RAM, rebuilt laptops or diagnosed faults for yourself, friends or family.If you spend your spare time fixing and tinkering with computers, we want to hear from you.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Diagnosing laptop hardware and software faults
- Identifying faulty components and working out what needs replacing
- Replacing screens, keyboards, batteries, SSDs, RAM and other parts
- Installing Windows and configuring laptops
- Carrying out testing and quality checks
- Data transfers and general laptop maintenance
- Learning more advanced repairs as your skills develop
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for someone who:
- Hashands-on experience with laptop components
- Understands the basics offault finding and diagnosis
- Is confident using tools and working carefully with small components
- Has a genuine interest in computer hardware and repair
- May have gained experienceat home, through hobbies, college or previous work
- Enjoys figuring out why something isn’t working
- Is practical, methodical and has good attention to detail
- Is keen to learn and develop their skills
Professional repair experience isn’t essential.What matters is that you can demonstrate that you’ve actuallyworked on laptops and understand the basics of diagnosing faults.
