Are you highly organised, detail-oriented and passionate about governance and compliance?

We’re looking for a collaborative and proactive Compliance Coordinator to join our Governance team, supporting the delivery of CIPS’ risk, compliance, governance and data protection framework across our global organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across a broad range of activities, building relationships with stakeholders, coordinating projects, and helping ensure the organisation maintains effective governance and regulatory compliance practices.

About us

The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) is the world’s leading professional body for procurement and supply, with over 70,000 members worldwide. With a Royal Charter, we’re driven by a clear purpose: to raise standards, build capability, and support ethical, high-performing supply chain professionals globally.

What you’ll be doing

You will play an important role in supporting the delivery of CIPS’ governance, risk, compliance and data protection activities, helping to ensure that policies, processes and regulatory requirements are effectively managed across the organisation.

Working closely with colleagues throughout the business, you will coordinate compliance activities, provide guidance on governance requirements, manage key documentation and registers, and support the implementation of compliance frameworks and projects. You will also help monitor regulatory developments, maintain policy review schedules, support data protection processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of governance standards and compliance practices.

Alongside this, you will support the preparation of governance reports, presentations and committee materials, administer compliance systems and processes, and provide support and guidance on compliance-related enquiries. Through building effective relationships across the organisation, you will help foster a positive culture of accountability, governance and continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and accurate documentation.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • The ability to plan and prioritise work effectively while managing competing demands.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

Experience gained in governance, compliance, risk, audit, policy management, administration, project coordination or similar environments would be beneficial. We also welcome applications from candidates with transferable skills and experience from other sectors and backgrounds.

What you’ll get – an array of benefits, including:

  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Private medical insurance (BUPA)
  • Pension scheme
  • Life assurance (4x salary)
  • Bonus scheme (non-contractual)
  • On-site restaurant and other great facilities including a gym.

Why join CIPS?

At CIPS, you’ll be part of a globally connected organisation where your work contributes to maintaining strong governance, ethical standards and professional excellence.

You’ll join a supportive and collaborative team, gain exposure to a wide range of compliance and governance activities, and have opportunities to develop your knowledge and experience within a respected international organisation.

We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace and welcome applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds, experiences and perspectives.
