Are you a hands‑on individual with experience in a manufacturing environment? Our client is seeking reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join their busy production team on a night shift.
You will be supporting the team across manufacturing and warehouse departments, ensuring quality standards and production targets are achieved. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidates.
What’s on Offer?
Location: Rye (Own transport needed due to location)
Job Type: Full time, temporary with the possibility of going permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday Night shift, 10:00pm till 6:00am
Salary: From £18.51 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting production and manufacturing operations
- Operating machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Assembling products to required specifications
- Conducting visual quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
- Packing and preparing finished goods for dispatch
- Following production schedules and work instructions
- Maintaining accurate production records where required
- Working to daily production targets and deadlines
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Following all company health and safety procedures
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within a production operative, warehouse operative, manufacturing operative or pick and pack role is desirable
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working to targets or deadlines
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to own vehicle due to the location and night shift hours
