We are looking to recruit a friendly and flexible domestic assistant to join our small team at Berwick Infirmary.

You’ll be part of a team striving to maintain the highest cleanliness standards in wards, departments, corridors and offices, and in doing so making a real difference to the NHS.
The successful candidate will maintain the standard of cleanliness as specified throughout the designated work area by means of approved cleaning methods., NHFM is a wholly owned subsidiary of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Established in 2012, NHFM provide specialist project management services for large and small capital developments, estates maintenance and a full range of facilities services. Carrying out facilities management for a state-of-the-art specialist emergency care hospital – The Northumbria, three general hospitals – North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham hospitals – and a number of smaller community hospitals and clinic sites, we cover one of the largest geographical areas of any NHS trust in the country.
19.5 hr post – usually worked as 3 x 6.5 hr shifts per week between 7am and 7pm. This position will involve working a share of weekend and bank holiday dates, for which an enhanced hourly rate is payable.
