Catering Assistant

A well-established organisation with a strong presence across North Wales is looking for a Catering Assistant to join their team based near Rhos on Sea.

As the Catering Assistant, your duties will include:

• Assisting with the delivery of a high-quality and efficient catering service
• Preparing and serving a range of hot and cold food and beverages
• Cleaning, tidying and sanitising kitchen equipment, tables and waste bins
• Maintaining clean and presentable front of house and dining areas before and after service
• Restocking and replenishing food, shelves, displays and beverage machines as required
• Serving customers and processing payments
• Supporting the wider catering team to ensure the smooth running of the service

To be considered for the Catering Assistant role, you will need:

• A current Food Hygiene Certificate, or willingness to obtain one
• A current DBS certificate, or willingness to obtain one
• The ability to work to high standards in a busy environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Welsh language skills would be desirable but are not essential

This is a temporary, ongoing position based near Rhos on Sea, working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a rota basis.Working hours will fall between 7am and 6pm, with flexibility required to work different shift times depending on the rota.In return, you will receive an hourly pay rate of £12.71 per hour plus holiday pay whilst on assignment.
